Kim Kardashian’s Maternity Style Evolution: The Agony of De Feet

Kim Kardashian's Feet

In today’s update of our Kim Kardashian Maternity Style Evolution, we give you the babymama-to-be’s wildly swollen feet — squeezed into skyscraper heels. Kimberly Noel Kardashian. This is not normal. Your body is telling you to embrace a chic Lanvin flat, or even an Isabel Marant sneaker.

Alas, the expecting superstar doesn’t seem to mind. Earlier this month, she posted the top right photo on Instagram, saying “Swollen feet or Givenchy tattoo?” We don’t understand why someone so pregnant would choose to torture themselves with stilettoes — why not just laze about in Snuggies and Isotoners? Baffling.

Talking To Best Week Ever‘s Dan St. Germain About His New Comedy Central Special

dancover1

Comedian Dan St. Germain often brings the laughs (and occasionally plays God) on Best Week Ever, but at midnight tonight his Comedy Central special, The Half Hour: Dan St. Germain, will air. I got the chance to catch up with Dan St. Germain at Best Week Ever HQ and talk to him about the special tonight, as well as what’s coming up on the horizon for him.

VH1: So, your first Comedy Central half hour special is airing tonight at midnight. Could you take us through how that comes about?

Dan St. Germain: I just bribed them.

No, no, you just submit a tape and hopefully they think it’s funny.

I’ve seen you recently at open mics and shows all over New York and I know you’re working all the time on amazing new material. How did you decide what material would go into the half hour? How new and how old is the material?

I would say about half of it’s from the last year, and the other half is really old stuff. Stuff that was from like two or three years ago

Like the classic Dan St. Germain hits?

(nods) The classic Dan St. Germain hits. My “Hotel Californias.”

Now, no pressure, because everyone’s listening (NOTE: this interview was conducted in front of the Best Week Ever crew), but what is your favorite part about working on Best Week Ever?

I love just working with the amazing cast and crew and staff. (To the cast, crew and staff staring at him) They’re the best.

(Everyone applauds.)

We only have two more episodes of Best Week Ever this season, so after that, where can fans of you see you?

On the street.

On the street?

I’m going to be hanging around.

My live schedule is up at danstgermain.net. Hopefully I’ll be back here at (Best Week Ever at) some point. There’s a webseries that’s going to coming out, hopefully in the fall. It’s an animated webseries about my life as a security guard. And me and Sean Donnelly will be on a Comedy Central-Sirius podcast.

You can check out Dan St. Germain tonight on Best Week Ever at 10/9 C! Dan’s Comedy Central half hour special airs tonight at midnight!

5 Things We Learned From The Bling Ring Reviews

The Bling Ring Reviews

Even though The Bling Ring doesn’t hit theaters until June 14th, the reviews are flowing in. And they are great! Sofia Coppola‘s film about the true story of star-obsessed teens that rob from the famous stars Emma Watson among other pretty famous. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and is quickly becoming the must-see film of the summer.

1. Emma Watson Is A Tour De Force.

THe Bling Ring Reviews

Practically every review praised the actress’ turn as Nicki based on Alexis Neiers, who had a short-lived reality series on E! Network.

Watson proves that her willingness to take chances is only growing, and that she’s an actress serious enough to turn a line like “Your butt looks awesome!” into something that reveals character. – Entertainment Weekly

2. Watson was inspired by the Kardashians and The Hills.

The Bling Ring Reviews

To prep for the role she watched several TV shows to get a sense of the fame-obsessed reality of Neiers.

“I watched a lot of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and The Hills, and I tried to understand the psychology of this kind of girl as much as possible,” she said. “I didn’t want her to be just a parody. The accent was hard as it was a particular kind of dialect. I also thought a lot about what her parents must have been like.” – US Weekly

3. The movie makes reference to Alexis Neiers famous phone call to Nancy Jo (the author of the Vanity Fair article that the movie is based on).

People have been curious if the hilariously-famous clip would make it into the film.

[It's] referenced in two separate scenes: One where Nikki seethes at her constantly interrupting mom (a hilarious Leslie Mann), and another where she debates whether to wear Louboutins or little brown Bebe kitten heels to court. – Vulture

4. The movie made Paris Hilton cry.

The Bling Ring Reivews

The actress was one of the real life victims of the robberies and hit by the group multiple times. She apparently lent her home to the film and was on hand at Cannes for the premiere of the film.

“I was really emotional watching it,” Hilton confessed to me last night at the movie’s hot-ticket Nikki Beach after-party. “During some parts of it, I literally had tears in my eyes and I wanted to cry. I knew what happened with the burglaries, but I had never actually seen it — so watching it happen, I was like, ‘Oh my God, this really happened to me. These kids were really in my house and did this to me.’ It’s so violating. It just made me really angry and upset, and when I see these kids, I want to, like, slap them.” – Vulture

5. The film ends with Frank Ocean.

What better way to end a film about celebrity, fame, crime and vanity than with Ocean’s track, “Super Rich Kids.”

The sets, locations and massive number of costumes define the film as much as anything else, while the two dozen-plus pop-music selections also do their share, none more so than the Frank Ocean end credits cut, “Super Rich Kids (With Nothing But Fake Friends).” – The Hollywood Reporter

The 20 Hottest Aliens In Movie And TV History

20 Hottest Aliens

Star Trek Into Darkness opens wide today, giving the world not only a whole new set of Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto bro-moments, but also some inevitably super hot extraterrestrial beings who launch our rockets into the stratosphere (eww). To celebrate the latest voyages of the starship Enterprise, we’ve decided to count down the 20 sexiest aliens in entertainment history!

But before we begin we’d like to add a small disclaimer. Sci-Fi fans are generally the most precise and passionate aficionados in the world (especially the Trekies and Star Wars crew). They are familiar with each and every nuance of their fictional universe, and every species of creature that inhabits it. So with that in mind, please don’t set our comments section on fire when we inevitably get something wrong. We really did try! There was a lot to learn…

Yes, we know that Star Trek: Voyager’s Seven of Nine is technically a human with former Borg capabilities. And The Fifth Element‘s Leeloo is also not an “alien” per-se, but a humanoid woman made from said fifth element. Battlestar Gallactica‘s Number Six is a humanoid Cylon, and perhaps most unforgivably, Futurama‘s Leela is technically half mutant/half human…and she lives on Earth! So all in all, we probably should have just called this post “The 20 Hottest Aliens, Mutants, Semi Robots, and Humans That Live In The Distant Future.” But that didn’t really scan, so we shortened it to just “Aliens.”

In any event, they ARE all other-worldly attractive, so definitely head up to the gallery above see who made the list!

First Dibs: Is Kim Kardashian Going To Take Her Baby On Kanye West’s Tour?

first-dibs-517

Should people be upset about the twists and turns and big reveals in Star Trek Into Darkness? Is Farrah Abraham going to show her daughter her sex tape? And what new details does the new trailer for Pacific Rim reveal?

  • Kim Kardashian is planning to take her newborn baby on tour with Kanye West in October. Kanye’s touring company has been asked to provide cribs and soundproof rooms for every stop on his tour. [TMZ.com]
  • SPOILER ALERT! Now that Star Trek Into Darkness is in theaters nationwide, people are spilling details on the villain, John Harrison, and how his identity might actually be something of a shocker. MTV News tackles this information with the question, “Why should we care?” [Like I said, SPOILER ALERT for the content at the original source, MTV.com.]
  • In a recent radio interview, Farrah Abraham admitted that she will show her young daughter her sex tape with James Deen when the girl is “13 or 14.” Apparently, Farrah is compiling her biggest career moments (Teen Mom episodes, her book, her porn…) into a “baby box” to share with her daughter. [Zap2It]
  • A new trailer for Pacific Rim has been released and reveals much more of the film’s backstory and explains that yes, the film is about humans building giant robots to fight alien monsters who rise out of the Pacific Ocean:

4 Things We Should Remember When Arguing About Politics

By Alli Reed  Published: May 17th, 2013  Political discourse in America has reached levels of douchebaggery previously only theorized about but never observed, like conversational dark matter. We're in a whole new world of hating people based solely on their opinions on a few key issues, an
